The 3 Steps to Heaven

The Ritual of Purification (Kake-yu)

"Wash your sins (and sweat) before you dive!"
Don't jump in like a ninja. Respect the water, respect the people.

The Art of Small Towel (No Dipping)

"Towel is for your head, NOT for the tub."In Japan, the bath is a sacred mirror.
Don't let your towel swim in it.

The Full Naked Philosophy (Tattoo & Body)

"Skin to Skin, Soul to Soul."Tattoos? Scars? Muscles? Fat?
We don't care. In the bath, everyone is just a "Naked Human."

Do & Don't

  • Don't swim. Swimming is the fish's job. You just need to stay in the hot water.

  • Don't bring smartphones into the hot spring area.
Leave your smartphone in a locker.

  • Stare at the sky until you forget your name.

  • Drink milk or eat TKG after the bath. It's the law.
